Things You Must Have When Traveling When you travel, either for business or for pleasure, you want it to be a memorable and enjoyable experience. 1. Itinerary
Prepare and write down a plan for the places you will visit and then make the necessary arrangements, in advance. This will definitely help to ensure your trip goes smoothly with far less headaches, so you can enjoy your travels.
2. Essentials
There are some things that you just can't go without during travel such as; your ticket, passport, money, and personal hygiene items. Keep these things nearby for quick and easy accessibility. If you are traveling to a tropical location like Central American then you will need to bring insect repellant as well.
3. Clothes
Check the weather forecast for your destination before you go so you will be able to bring the right clothes for the trip. Be sure to bring all the clothing you may need but don't overpack.
4. Shoes
Usually traveling will require a lot of walking seeing the various places, so you should bring a good pair of comfortable shoes that wont strain your feet.

If you are going to be renting transportation while on vacation it is advisable to get insurance for the rental vehicle you are getting.
Before leaving the rental company you should check the car for any damage before accepting the unit and if there is damage, you must insist that the rental company take note of it before leaving the lot.
10. Labels
Given the many instances of passengers inadvertantly taking the luggage of another passenger, label the inside and outside of your luggage. It is advisable to only write your name and phone number but not your address. If your luggage is lost you should leave your address only to the carrier you are flying on.
